How to Ship Your Product Samples and Avoid Unnecessary Fees or Delays

For some business owners that need to send products internationally, shipping can be a headache. To avoid problems such as lost packages, damaged products, delays and unnecessary fees follow these steps. Below are some tips on how to ship your product samples, avoid unnecessary costs or delays:

1. Make sure that all necessary documents are properly filled-out to avoid any delays in your cargos.

Provide detailed description.

Example: If it is a box of 6 red tee shirts, size medium, indicates that exactly.  Documents to include:

2. Describe your item as accurately as possible on your shipping request form in order to avoid unnecessary taxes or duties fees.

Before shipping your product, you have to make sure that you accurately describe and declare the value of the item/products you are going to ship to assure that your products/items will not encounter delays and to avoid your shipment being held in customs.

3. Declare the value of your shipment.

The value you enter on your request form is the value that will be declared at customs, so it is important that you declare accurately. If you declare too high a value, you may be assessed more taxes than you want to pay. If you declare too low a value, your declared value may be considered unreasonable and adjusted upward.

4. If it is only a SAMPLE used for reference or photography then declared it as a Sample Only Not for Resale. (Xanax UK)

When shipping products internationally customs assumes its for sale and will add fees. So, to avoid this situation, you have to accurately describe your product as a sample and not for sale.

5. Provide Proof of Payment

All goods need to be declared, such as their description, quantity, and their value which will be the basis for assessment of duties and taxes.

6. Avoid the postal service.

Postal services are usually less expensive than couriers, but our local post office here is somewhat outdated. They will sometimes delay shipments for a week or more. If your project is time sensitive use reputable couriers such as DHL, UPS or FedEx to ensure your product arrives quickly.

7. Please take note or double check the Shipping Address:
